INVEST 2011-12 Update:

PPE family Invest pledges, including corporate matches and grandparent payment, totaled $102,918 this year!

Eleven PPE teachers who had 100% participation in their class were awarded Mere Bulles gift certificates (generously donated from owners Steven and Joleyn Smithing).Congrats to the winning teachers:

Invest is the Percy Priest Yearly Capital Campaign. Rather than numerous fundraisers to add the needed monetary support for our school, we ask you to write one check. Why do we do this? For only $1 a day your money can make a big impact on the quality of public education.

This year's theme is "Anything is Possible." When a community comes together for the same goal we can do things like "build a library." While the Invest money's sole purpose is to fund the PTO operating budget, we feel our invest campaign as well as our library funding are great examples of how supportive the Percy Priest community can be. Please give what you can. Your generosity, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated.

INVEST Update 2010-11 - Drum roll please!
Our final INVEST pledge total is........$101,068! Thank you SO very much to all of our families for your participation and generosity during PPE’s INVEST campaign! It has been a huge success. For those of you paying on installment plans, thank you for continuing to honor your pledges, which are vital to the funding for our spring programs. Final payments are due by the end of November.

Lots of preparation and planning went on over the summer by our wonderful INVEST team. Our theme this year is "Landmark Foundations" featuring our Percy Priest spirit wear magnet as it traveled Nashville to represent Percy Priest as the future of our community. And the foundations we lay now in our children's education will insure the success of their future and reflect on the future of Nashville. Education is a landmark event in a child's life and can mark a unique or important historical change of course or one on which important developments depend. We hope you will be generous with your gift to insure Percy Priest can provide such a landmark education.

Pledge Cards returned by Monday the 30th  received a FREE ICEE from the Granny White Market.

INVEST 2009 A BIG SUCCESS!
Our PTO Invest fundraiser concluded tin September with over 85% of the school participating. As announced at our assembly we ended with over $100,000 raised for our school. Thanks to Brian Harris, Vanderbilt Baseball team starting shortstop, All- SEC performer and PPE alum for speaking to our children on the importance of hard work, goal setting and doing your best. Special thanks again to Dan Smith of Granny White Market for donating the Icees for all 1st Day pledge cards (389). Dan, a PPE alum, is a true friend to our school. Also, thank you to Roma's Pizza of Green Hills for giving a special reduced cost on pizzas for our pizza parties.

Please see your Friday folder throughout the school year for a special PPE offers from Roma's which will help us generate some additional funds for our school.
