The 2010-2011 school year starts back on August 12th at 8 am. School will be a half day and dismiss at 11:30 am. August 13th is a teacher inservice day and there will be no school. Monday August 16th is the first full day back for PPE grades 1-4. Kindergarten will meet 1/2 day on Monday. Tuesday the 17th begins everyone's first full day. Kindergarten and new families, please familiarize yourself with proper drop-off and pick up procedures. These rules are established for the safety of your child.view all >

Two opportunities to help!

1) JTM and PPE are looking for a parent to serve as the liaison between the 2 schools next year. Ideally, the person would have children at both schools, so you would have a handle on what was going on at both places. The idea is to pass important information back and forth between the two schools about activities, IB service hour projects, programs, volunteer opportunities, etc.view all >

Join the New Math Club!

Math Munchers continues after school each Monday. Your child may join us at any time. Sending an email to Kelli Austin

and let us know by 8:15 Monday a.m. works well so we can get food items needed. Send a note for dismissal to Monday Math Munchers along with your with check to cover one day or one month, whatever works. Our meeting time will shift from 3:30 - 4:30 with the MNPS time change.view all >

Communication Guidelines

We are updating the Communications Procedures for 2010-2011

Please know we are going paperless at PPE. Only hardship hard copy will be supplied for PTO correspondence. Official forms from MNPS required to be sent by hard copy will be sent home along with any PTO forms that require you must fill them out. We are also going to set up a sticker system for Friday folders to help designate a sibling paper receiver in order to reduce duplicate copies for necessary paper correspondence.

Look for more "rules" to come.
