EnPlay Makes Play with Purpose
Congrats to EnPlay WSNL Winter Basketball Teams for raising $200 in a Hoop'n for a Haiti fundraiser. Saturday the 23rd of Jan., Coach Donald Wynn's Third Grade Boys teams had a unique fundraiser to raise money for victims ofthe Haiti Earthquake. Parents of the three Percy Priest teams decided to "put their money where their players hard work was" and collectively donate $5 for every point the teams scored. $200 was raised by Coach Wynn's teams. According to coach Wynn,
"This was great for the kids, they really got behind this fundraiser". The WNSL commends and thanks these teams for their hard work and generosity to those affected by this tragedy.

Now In Season!
Registration is open for WNSL baseball now through February 22. Go to the WNSL website to register and for league information such as the calendar of games, etc.
There will be a number of Percy Priest teams coached by PPE parents and volunteers. If you played last year, you should contact last year's coach and teammates to make sure that the team is planning to play together again. If you did not play last season or are seeking to join a PPE team, ask among your student's classmates and parents to find who might be coaching and to see if they have any room on their roster for a new player.
If you know the coach, simply list that coach when you register. If you do not find a coach, make sure to identify your child as a PPE student and request other PPE classmates for teammates. WNSL will work with the PPE coaches and Tracy Powell to put our PPE kids together as much as possible.
We are also always on the lookout for volunteers to help with coaching. No experience required, just a little patience and love of kids.
Contact Tracy Powell with any questions.
