by the PTO!

TUESDAY, 8/31: Cub Scout Round-up, 6:30pm in

the Tiger Café - For all boys in grades 1-4 to learn

THIS WEEK: Disinfecting Wipes are needed in the Tiger Café! - Supplies are low. If you could send some in with your child to the cafeteris it would be much appreciated.

Dear Percy Priest Families,

Our annual INVEST campaign officially kicked off today. INVEST supports PPE in many ways including funding the salaries of three workroom assistants, a part-time technology coach and a science lab facilitator. Funds are also used to provide quality professional development for our faculty, the recent installation of a new sound system in the gym, and updated technology in all of our classrooms. Thank you for your support of Percy Priest, and I hope to see you tonight at the family picnic!

There are so many thank yous and so little space! What a great problem to have. We appreciate the great turn out at the Room Parent Meeting and the Committee Chair Orientation. We are especially grateful to our Hospitality Committee for their help with meals for the teachers, refreshments for First Day Fair and committee meetings. We also send a big “thank you” to Lisa Garrmone from the Green Hills Starbucks for donations for the First Day Fair. Finally, your PTO has a few openings for volunteers and we would love to hear from you if you are interested. Please contact us at either enashea@thekohlers.us or chiltoncollier@pol.net.

The PPE PTO INVEST Fundraiser begins today, August 27! - This is our most important PTO fundraiser of the year and provides critical funds to benefit our school. In your child's Friday folder you'll find our INVEST Poster. Our theme for this year, Building Landmark Foundations for Educational Success, focuses on the quality of education at PPE and the foundation that it creates for our children. The poster has information about many of the programs INVEST supports and includes a pledge card. Return the pledge card on Monday, August 30 with any dollar amount pledged that is appropriate, and your child will receive a FREE Icee Coupon from Granny White Market. It must be turned in by Monday, August 30 to qualify for the free Icee! And please display the poster prominently in your house to keep your kids involved and aware of INVEST during the campaign. Thanks for your support of our school.

Turn in your Tiger Store orders by Monday, August 30! This is the last day the store will be open until November 1. If you have lost your order form, click here to download another. Tiger Store will be set up at the Family Picnic so be sure to stop by! Orders will be delivered to your child's classroom mid-September.
