FINAL POPSICLE PARTY for Rising Kindergarteners will be held Sunday July 25th at 4pm.
Meet your classmates and have some popsicles provided by the PPE PTO! Meet us on the upper playground for an afternoon of fun.

KINDERGARTEN READINESS DAYS 2010
Once again this year, Laurie Mansfield and Kelly Austin will be offering the Kindergarten Readiness Days! We call it "Ready or Not...Here We Come to Kindergarten!" It will be held August 2 - 4! It is a wonderful way to see Kindergarten before it begins! Flyers are available in the office. Welcome to Kindergarten at Percy Priest! You are now a Percy Priest Tiger! When you walk into our Kindergarten hallways and classrooms, you are entering a learning zone filled with wonderful colors, smiles and relationships that help prepare your child become a "life long learner"!

Each print-rich classroom welcomes the children with hands-on activities to engage young minds. Many approaches are used to teach your children the basics needed in their elementary school years and beyond. Children will engage in whole group & small group learning. Assessment is often conducted individually. We aim to meet each child at their current level of learning in reading, writing & mathematics daily.  We encourage and welcome parent involvement during the school year and believe that this is a wonderful way to show the children that we are all working together to help them learn and grow.

Kindergartners at Percy Priest visit Gentry Farm, Nashville Children's Theater, and the Nashville Zoo, just to name a few! We look forward to showing your child that school is a safe & friendly environment where learning takes place in all that we do!

Being a Percy Priest Tiger is something to be very proud of and we celebrate successes daily with each kindergartner!
