The following Grading Scales are being used for our students, based on MNPS District Policy:
Subject and Related Arts Grading Scale Subject and Related Arts Grading Scale
Grades K-1 Second, Third, and Fourth Grades
100-90 E = Excellent 100-90 A = Excellent
89-80 S = Satisfactory 89-80 B = Above Average
79-70 P = Progressing 79-70 C = Average
69-60 N = Needs Improvement 69-60 D = Low, but Passing
Below 60 U = Unsatisfactory Below 60 F = Not Passing

Creating an Account in ParentConnection
There are two parts to this process:
Establishing a Gradespeed account and linking your account to your child
Part One – Establishing a Gradespeed Account
Go to the following web address:
https://gradespeed.mnps.org/pc
1. Click on Click Here to Sign Up in the bottom left corner
2. On the Parent Account Sign Up page, enter your information (name, address,
email, etc.). All information with an * must be submitted.
Click on Add Email address and enter email
Read and Accept the User Agreement
Click Sign Up
Within 48 hours your will receive an email link with a verification code
Follow the link and enter the verification code exactly as shown in the email
Click continue
Part Two – Linking your account to your child
1. After logging on to Gradespeed, click Add Student to My Account
2. On the application screen, enter in your child’s information EXCACTLY as it is
written on the verification sheet sent home in last week’s Friday Folder. For
example, if Street is abbreviated on the verification sheet, you must abbreviate
your application information the same way.
3. Your child’s student identification number is the 190….number on the verification
Sheet.
4. Click Submit.
5. Within approximately 48 hours, you will receive an email – pending, approved, or
denied.
