PPE Kids Get Techie!
Does your child get excited about technology? Does he/she want to learn how to design animated PowerPoints or use the features in Microsoft Office? Would they like to explore fun, educational apps or learn how to make movies on their iPad? Come join Dr. Coats & Miss Spry for the PPE Tech Club!
The Tech Club will meet every Monday from 3:00 – 4:00 October 3, 2011, and our last meeting will be December 12th. Registration cost will be $150. Students may bring personal iPads and/or laptops if they wish; however, students will have access to school laptops and iPads. DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM HERE. Step Into Dance: Dance club starts Sept 12. PPE’s new dance club is forming now for boys and girls grades 2-4. Students will be exposed to a variety of dance forms, including but not limited to, ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary and Hip Hop. Students will gain discipline, skills and knowledge to enable them to build the self-confidence needed to be successful in multiple dance performances as well as future pursuits for dance in middle school and high school. The dance team meets every Monday from 3:00-4:15. Cost will be $150 for this semester with 10 sessions. We will begin September 12. Knitting with Ms Jones
A new season begins for Knitting Club! This is a club for beginning as well as intermediate knitters--boys too! In this group your child will:
· Learn the basics of knitting.
· Learn how to use and read a pattern.
· Be able to choose their own projects from a wide variety of patterns.
· Receive aid and assistance on projects.

Calling all future Yo-Yo Mas and Claptons. The PPE Guitar and Violin Club meets on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 3:45 PM, starting September 7 so register your kids now. Please contact idaflower@idaflower.com for registration information.
Girls on the Run Openings
This fall, many more Percy Priest girls were interested in participating in Girls on the Run than there was space for because there were not enough adult volunteers willing to commit to coaching. However, space is still available in a fabulous grades 3 to 5 Girls on the Run program at East Park Community Center. The last possible date to join that program is Sept. 13. Also, your girl may join the JT Moore GOTR session. Online registration is now open. Percy Priest girls have participated at both JTMoore and East Park previously when PPE programs were full.

THERE IS A NEW SOCCER CLUB IN NASHVILLE! This grassroots effort is to satisfy a growing interest in the sport of soccer in the city of Nashville. There is no need to travel to the satellite communities to play soccer and learn from great coaches who love the game.
If you live in Nashville, in an in-town neighborhood, and love soccer, you will love the convenience and neighborhood feel of our new soccer club. Nashville Soccer United is uniting Nashville neighborhoods in soccer! We offer "Travel Light Soccer" with training by professional coaches at convenient neighborhood fields.
