We are less than two weeks from the end of another successful school year at Percy Priest ES. The next eight days will be filled with many end-of-the-year fun activities and festivities.
Our last PTO meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday evening @ 6:30 p.m. in the library. PPE “Year in Review” will be shared along with up-to-date information on our SY18-19 Student Based Budget and PTO budget. We hope to see you there.
Our fabulous 4th grade classes will share their musical talents with us on Thursday evening, May 17th @ 6:30 p.m. in the Tiger Gym for their final performance as a PPE tiger. Their artwork will also be on display. Congratulations to the PPE Class of 2018!
Miss Stuart, PPE’s librarian, has a column in BookPage (bookpage.com or @bookpage on Twitter) this month highlighting three nature-themed read alouds. In her new recurring feature, Check It Out, she shares book recommendations for elementary school teachers. Way to go, Miss Stuart! Your PPE family is proud of you! Miss Stuart has also challenged ALL PPE students, faculty and staff to read at least one hour a day during the summer months. Will you and your children accept her challenge?
