Hands-on-Science Assistance in the Classroom
Roles you might take on:
1. Preparation of Materials

• Classroom teacher will contact you to help organize materials from the  science kits into class lesson sets.
  
• Assemble handouts into science journals.
  
• Preparation could be done at home or at school.
  

2. Assistance During Lesson

• Assist during a lesson. An extra pair of hands is always helpful when  lessons are materials-intense.
  

3. Leading a Science Lesson

• Let us know if you have particular expertise in an area of science and classroom teachers might call on you during the particular unit of study.
