NPT PBS Kids Go! Writers Contest Winners
PPE was proud to have the 1st and 2nd place winners for second grade in the NPT PBS Kids Go! Writer's Contest! Congratulations to Lacy Sheppard who won first place, and to Sydney Neal who won second place. Entries were judged on originality, creative expression, storytelling and integration of copy and illustrations. Both students were asked to read their stories in the NPT studios for later broadcast on air/website. Stay tuned for the link to hear our Tigers read their winning pieces!

The Mayor’s Art Show At the Frist!
Congratulations to the following Percy Priest Artists who’s art work will be representing our school at the Mayor’s Art Show this year!
Kindergarten: Hannah Adams’ landscape painting and Ava Coulter’s bedroom painting
First Grade: Evelyn Trost’s crazy quilt painting and Kate Blanchfield’s candy portrait
Second Grade: Rose Tidwell’s foil relief sculpture and Bryn Owens’ weaving
Third Grade: Madeline Wall’s still life painting and Ella Grace Dillard expressive portrait
Fourth Grade: William Hoyt and Ethan Smith’s one point perspective window drawings.
