OVERVIEW
Volunteers
Parent participation is very important at Percy Priest. We need your talents, time, extra hands and kind words. By volunteering you can play an important role in your child’s education. Please share your special talents with the children of Percy Priest! Our students are so special and dear. Do not miss this opportunity to get to know them.
If you are interested in volunteering we can find a place for you! At the beginning of each school year your teacher / room parent will send home an information form listing the various school activities. Please complete the form and return it to your child’s teacher. Our volunteer coordinator will contact you.
You may also fill out the volunteer survey form online.

Helpful Hints for Success
• Pick up your “assignment” quickly from the classroom teacher who is likely to be engaged with his/her students.
• Be on time so that the classroom teacher can count on you. If you are unable to make your appointment, please call the classroom teacher’s extension ASAP. As you know, teachers do not always check their messages until the end of the school day.
• Help students be respectful of others while working in places such as the library. Help them to move around like “ghosts.”
