Welcome to Second Grade!

Welcome to second grade! There is no better place to be a second grader than at Percy Priest. Our goal is to provide an outstanding and individualized education that will further the physical, social, and educational growth of your child.

Second grade students will be introduced to multiplication, division, cursive writing, and many other concepts that are going to provide a solid foundation for their future. Our Sunshine Math program will excite, motivate, and challenge your children.

Your child will also see the life cycle of a butterfly unfold in front of their very own eyes. We will be taking field trips to Gentry Farms, Bell Meade Plantation, Nashville Symphony, and the Nashville Children's Theatre. We know that these destinations will not only entertain the students, but also provide them with a unique cultural experience. We encourage all parents to be active members of your child's education.
