Dear Percy Priest Parents and Community,

It’s official!  We made it through the first week of school and are well on the way to an exciting 2019-20 school year.

Whether you have a new student at Percy Priest or have been around for a few years, we welcome you all into our special community.  As principal of PPE, I am thrilled to have our tigers back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning.

A copy of the 2019-20 MNPS Student-Parent Handbook information page with permission forms attached was placed in the PPE first day folder (white with PPE logo).   Please complete the forms and return them to your child’s teacher on Monday, along with the Student Emergency form.  Thank you in advance.

Our neighbors in Otterwood have expressed concern about the number of cars being parked in their entrance between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. while homeowners are leaving for work.  They respectfully request that PPE parents not park in their entrance at any time.

Percy Priest Elementary is a special school with a long history of success. I am happy  you are a part of it and look forward to seeing you on Thursday at our Informational Open House for parents and teachers.

Your partner in education,

Mrs. Melinda Williams
