Good morning, Percy Priest families~
The events of the last few days have led us into uncharted territory, and we are learning how to navigate these changes and challenges alongside you. The most important thing at this time is your family’s health and well-being. Please click on the following link for more information as well as additional COVID-19 updates: https://www.mnps.org/health
This week was a time for your family to be together and determine what the next few weeks will look like with schools being closed through at least April 3rd. If your child expresses concerns or anxiety about the weeks ahead, listen to their concerns and reassure them that you are doing everything you can to keep them healthy and safe.
Our amazing PPE teachers have been conferencing and compiling (while on Spring Break) online resources and helpful information for students in each grade level. Teachers may choose to send messages through Bloomz, Remind, or e-mail. These resources can help your child be engaged with meaningful learning activities over the next few weeks.
The health and safety of our students and faculty continue to be the priority of MNPS as decisions are made about the coming weeks. There is a great deal of important information related to school closings on the MNPS page – specifically https://www.mnps.org/health.
