Here is what we'll be up to the week of December 3rd-7th: ELA: We will continue working in another IFL (Institute for Learning) book.  Our focus will be "Mysteries of the Deep".  Our focus questions is "What do you learn about mysterious creatures and the study of them from these texts?  How does Tarshis [the author] use language to help her readers understand the creatures she write about in these texts?"  Our grammar focus will be subordinating conjunctions and complex sentences. This is a [...]

We are still in need of some volunteers to help with the 3rd and 4th grade Math night. Math night is this Friday at PPE. Volunteers needed from 5:15 pm-7:15 pm. Hello families! In this week's newsletter, you'll find information for the week of November 26-30, 2018. Math Night: November 30th

Math Night is Friday, November 30th from 5:30-7 pm at Percy Priest!  It is going to be a great night of making math fun.  There will be math games, snacks and prizes all provided by Mathnasium of Green Hills. Families, Thank you for a wonderful first nine weeks.  In the past, we have recognized students who receive Principal's List, Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, and Rising Star on WPPE (our morning news broadcast).  We have decided as a faculty to make a shift this year.  We will still recognize Perfect Attendance and Rising Stars on WPPE.  However, we will no longer present certificates to Principal's List and Honor Roll on WPPE.  Students who earn Principal's List and Honor Roll will receive a certificate of achievement from his or her teacher. It has come to our attention that the 2018-2019 Beautiful Art Contest deadline conflicts with the fall break of MNPS schools. We would like to extend the deadline to next Wednesday, Oct. 24. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause for you or your students.
