Students, Parents, Community, and Staff:

It has been my honor to serve as the assistant principal at Percy Priest. Having worked in education for 37 years, I must say that the last seven at PPE have been the best. What an amazing community of learners and educators we have! As I embark on new adventure in my retirement, I will carry with me the many fond memories of a career spent serving children and teachers across the district and beyond. I wish each of you the best and hope that our time together was a memorable and positive experience for you. Know that in life, what we carry in our hearts is what makes us special. With memories come so many emotions: smiles, tears, laughter, joy. Each of you will live in my heart and soul forever and I cherish our times together! To each student I say, “Go out into the world and be the best that you can be.” To each parent I say, “Do the best you can. That’s all your children can ask of you.” To our teachers I say, “Carry on! The torch is passed to you with much love, admiration, and appreciation.”

Wishing you nothing but the best,

Mark Mason
