1st Grade News: 1/15

Dear Parents,
Thank you for your flexibility and help as we continue to navigate this strange learning experience.  You have done an outstanding job guiding your children through this virtual world we are in.  We appreciate you logging your child on (or teaching them how to log on themselves) in the morning and allowing him/her to be an independent learner.  Thank you for making sure your child has completed his/her assignments each week.  We know how difficult it must be to have to balance school, work, and everyday life.  You are doing great and we appreciate you!
**There is no school this Monday, Jan. 18 in honor of MLK, Jr.
**If you have not signed up for MAP testing, please visit Please remember to sign up 2 times – one for the ELA test and one for the Math test.
**Thank you so much for having your child do 45 minutes of iReady and LexiaCore5 each week.
**The first week of 2021 is in the books.  Your children are precious, resilient, and patient.  Even with technical difficulties, they continue to amaze us with their positive attitudes.  They make the hard days brighter.  We love them and are so thankful we get to spend our days with them!
Thank you for all you do!
