Hello Families!
We were so happy to welcome back in-person students this week! We are so lucky to be part of this amazing community!

For next week, we will really get the ball rolling. In ELA, we are going to continue our study of the Solar System. We’ll read lots of great books, and study big concepts like galaxies, orbits, and the characteristics of our Solar System.

In Math, we will begin our study of shapes. We’ll start by understanding polygons and their attributes. In Social Studies, we are continuing our study of the geographic regions of the United States.

For next week from Ms. Brumleve:
Percy Priest students will participate in a mock presidential election sponsored by the Tennessee Secretary of State’s office on Monday, October 26, 2020. Students will vote in their classrooms.

A copy of the ballot is attached. A copy of the ballot will also be sent home in the Friday Folder.
