Happy Friday to our Fabulous Fourth Grade Families!
MNPS is holding a district-wide Minecraft challenge for all students. Students must create a historical landmark and record a tour. In February, Mrs. Ramsey will host work sessions for 3rd and 4th graders who are interested in completing the project.
4th Grade – Wednesdays after school until 4:00pm. Sign up here.
Any student can create a submission. If your student is interested in entering, please contact Lisa Ramsey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 4th grade will celebrate Valentine’s Day with classroom parties, including a Valentine Box contest for each class. Valentine boxes are to be decorated at home and brought to school on Monday, Feb. 14th. Each class will be judged on three categories:
1. Sweetest Box
2. Most Spirited Box (think school, sports, or house)
3. Most Creative way to receive a valentine (How will the valentine actually enter the box?)
Participation is optional, but we always love seeing everyone’s creativity with this project! Your child’s homeroom teacher will send a class list so you have names to address valentines.
Don’t forget! The deadline to order a yearbook for your child is February 1.
