4th Grade News: 11/5

Hello Families,
What a fantastic week it’s been in 4th grade! Our students were troopers returning to school the day after Halloween and have continued to work hard and put forth their best effort every day.

Notes for Next Week:

If you haven’t already, please request to follow your child’s teacher/teachers to see photos of our adventures throughout the year. If your name is not clearly in your Instagram handle, please send us an e-mail letting us know it is you. We want to keep these private and only open to 4th grade families and PPE teachers.

– Ms. Cary – mrscaryppe

Recommendations for Private Schools:
It is hard to believe that it is time start the middle school selection process! Please know that we are happy to fill out recommendations for your child. It will be very helpful if you will email us when you are applying to a school so we can be on the lookout for those recommendation forms. Sometimes they end up in our clutter folders, and we don’t want to miss them!

Checking Grades:
As a reminder, please check your child’s grades in Schoology and look for any incomplete or missing assignments (or assignments they may want to retake).
To check grades and look for assignments:

– Login to Schoology through Clever (on your child’s account)
– Select the Course for the grades you want to see
– Click on “Grades” on the left side of the screen

Your child’s grades for that course will show up. If you see “-” this means the assignment has not been assigned to your child yet. All missing/incomplete assignments are labeled either missing or incomplete. Missing assignments are calculated as “0” and incomplete assignments have not been added to their grade yet.
