Our first Navigator Day of 2022 was a huge success! The children learned a great deal about the impact and legacy of a great hero, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In our class discussions, we shared how we can keep Dr. King’s dream alive by serving others, standing up for what is right, and treating everyone with fairness and respect. It is beautiful to witness these principles on display in our classrooms and throughout our school.
Take Home Readers went home with your child this past week! I hope you enjoyed listening to your reader use those important reading strategies to decode and fluently read & comprehend their books. New books will go home each Monday and should be returned the following Thursday. Make sure you fill out the reading log and return it each week. Thank you for your support.
