Essential Question: How do our senses help us learn?
Focusing Question: How do our senses help us learn from Rap a Tap Tap?

~Ask and answer questions about key vocabulary
~Ask questions about the key events, details, and words
~Label a drawing from the text
~With prompting and support, use a combination of drawing, dictating, and/or writing to narrate a single event
~Write the letters that represent most phonemes and apply them to their own writing and drawing
~Identify uppercase and lowercase letters
~Form letters correctly
~Learn letter sounds
~Sort pictures by beginning and ending sound

Math: Counting & Cardinality with Sets to 12
~Orally count by 1’s, 5’s and 10’s
~Write numbers 0-12
~Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality
~Count to answer, “how many?” questions about as many as 12 things

Social/Emotional Learning (SEL)
~ Recognizes that there are many ways to solve conflicts and practices solving problems using different methods
~Demonstrates awareness and consideration of other people’s emotions, perspectives, and social cues
~Exhibit civic responsibility in multiple settings (School-Wide Community Service, Veteran’s Day)
