Kindergarten News: 10/23

Dear Parents,

Thank you for returning Friday folders and emergency cards.

Heart Word Books are coming home with each child in Friday Folders. This book contains lists of sight words your child should learn to read “by heart.” We want these words to be read by quickly by sight, as children will encounter them in emergent and early level texts. Please go over each list with your child to prepare him/her for upcoming weekly sight word assessments. Your child’s classroom teacher will let you know when to return the book to class, so please look for details in their weekly newsletter.
