Kindergarten News: 11/5

Hi Parents,

THANK YOU for supporting our school with the INVEST fundraiser. Kindergarten had over 90% of families pledge! We will have our grade level popsicle party next Friday. As we continue to talk about gratitude this month, please know that we are very thankful for our amazingly supportive PPE families!!

Nurse Donna is visiting kindergarten classes to talk about Healthy Habits. She uses her special black light to show the children how thoroughly cleaning their hands is the best way to stop the spread of germs. The kiddos know they can sing the Happy Birthday song or count to 20 while washing to be sure their hands are germ free!

Mrs. Twitchel had guidance classes this past week. Ask your child what it means to, “Be the Pond.” See if your child can identify their many feelings (happy, sad, worried, angry, sleepy, excited, kind, playful, selfish) and share what makes them feel certain ways! Feel free to visit the Counselor’s Corner ( for valuable resources on mindfulness, meditation and more!
