Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Percy Priest Elementary is working hard to make this year the best yet. Our organization of parents, teachers and administration wants each student and family to feel welcome.

The PTO’s mission and goal is to support our amazing teachers, staff and students in an environment that will put students on a path to success in elementary school and beyond. Funds raised through the hard work of parent volunteers help fund supplemental supplies and support for Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, and our Technology programs. In addition, the PTO funds Interventionist and Enrichment teachers, support staff for our teachers, and professional development.

We encourage you to participate and get involved throughout the year. There are many opportunities to volunteer; you can participate as little or as much as you would like. Every bit helps! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the PTO Board or Committee Chairs if you are interested in volunteering. We would love for you to get involved!

Don’t miss out on important information throughout the school year; be sure to register online to receive the weekly Eblast with grade-level specific information for your child.

Our theme this year is Passport to Percy Priest * Explore, Discover, Learn & Grow*. Our hope is that each student will develop a lifelong curiosity and passion for learning. We encourage students and families to jump in and explore this great school, discover their potential, learn about after school clubs and parent led committees, and grow in their relationships with teachers, and each other. The PTO looks forward to partnering with you on this quest and journey.
