Lunch Pricing:
- Breakfast: No cost for all students
- Elementary & MS Student Lunch: $2.75 daily
- High School Student Lunch: $3.00 daily
- Adult Lunch (MNPS Employees and Volunteers): $3.50
- Adult (Non-MNPS Employees and non-volunteers): $3.75
- Non-enrolled Pre-K children and visiting MNPS students: Breakfast is based on a la carte pricing. Lunch is $2.75
- A visiting MNPS student is one that is eating at a school other than where they are enrolled and they are not there on official school business, i.e. eating lunch with a their sibling.
Lunch Schedules:
- Kindergarten: 12:05 pm – 12:35 pm
- 1st Grade: 11:30 am – 12:00 pm
- 2nd Grade: 10:30am-11:00am
- 3rd Grade: 11:00am-11:30am
- 4th Grade: 12:35-1:05 pm
From MNPS re: Lunch Changes for the 2018-9 Year:
For the last four years, Metro Schools has participated in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP), the federal reimbursement program that allows school districts to offer lunch at no cost to students. Eligibility is based on poverty as measured by the direct certification numbers used for participants of government assistance programs.
Effective with the 2018-2019 school year, MNPS is no longer eligible to participate system-wide and can no longer offer this program to all students at all schools. ALL schools will continue to provide free breakfast.
