Ginny Dolezal


My name is Ginny Dolezal and I have 4 children, 2 currently at Percy Priest Elementary – Parker who graduated from PPE last year, Grant a 4th grader in Mrs. Allen’s class, Mark a 2nd grader in Mrs. Manning’s class, and John who will be at PPE next year.  I joined the PTO’s Executive Board because I love Percy Priest and want to give back to the school.  In my professional life, I am a Nurse Practitioner but currently staying home. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, reading, gardening, spending time outdoors and hanging out with all my family. One of my favorite events is field day. I love watching the kids cheer on each other and how much fun they all have together.

Kass Benchoff


My name is Kass Benchoff and I have two sons at Percy Priest Elementary – Stevie is in 4th grade and Sam is in second grade.  I joined the PTO’s Executive Board because  I want to support to this amazing school and tremendous teachers and continue to serve the PPE community.   In my professional life I work in Health IT at Vanderbilt.  My role is to serve as a liaison for any  clinical needs for additional technology when patient data is involved.  In my spare time I enjoy exercising and watching my children play sports.  My favorite PPE event is the Tiger Cup which I have chaired for the past several years.  I am a terrible golfer, but love to raise money for this school.

Nahed Artoul Zehr

My name is Nahed Artoul Zehr and I have one child at Percy Priest Elementary – Nurah Zehr who is in Mrs. Parker’s second grade class.  Next year, my youngest daughter Nadeen will be a PPE Kindergartner! I joined the PTO’s Executive Board as a way to give back to PPE.  Our family’s life has been enriched by the school’s first rate education and its skilled and caring staff.  In my professional life, I am a former professor and nonprofit executive director, and am now an active community volunteer.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, coffee, traveling, and any type of peace and quiet I can find.  My favorite PPE event is the auction – I love getting a parents’ night out and seeing our community come together to support our school.

Emily Walker

Immediate Past President

My name is Emily Walker and I am on the board as the immediate Past President.  It’s been an honor to serve the Percy Priest staff, students and families over these past few years. My husband Chris and I have two children, Morgan (4th grade) and Lawson (2nd grade). In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, spending time with family and friends, and reading.  Last spring’s Totally Awesome 80’s Auction is one of my favorite PPE memories.

Ashley Wade

Immediate Past President

My name is Ashley Wade and I have one daughter at Percy Priest Elementary – Emma who is a first grader in Mrs. Faison’s class. I have one PPE graduate, Mackenzie, who reminds her sister’s once a tiger, always a tiger. Next year, my youngest daughter Addison will be a PPE Kindergartner! I joined the PTO’s Executive Board as a way to support our local neighborhood school and give back to the place that is instilling a lifelong love of learning in my daughters. Our family’s life has been engulfed with the open arms of the Percy Priest community, the incredible staff and the encouraging environment. In my professional life, I am a former kindergarten teacher and tutor, and I am currently an active community volunteer and stay at home mom to our three daughters. In my spare time, I enjoy live music, skiing out West, Ole Miss football (Hotty Toddy), family trips to Disney World, the beach, long walks in the morning before the kids wake up and podcasts. Also, I am a native Nashvillian! My favorite PPE event is the annual spring fundraiser– I chaired the Auction in 2016 with my dear friend, Tarala Rybacki and have loved attending the parent only event to support our Tigers that always has a fun theme year after year.

Russell Young

Percy Priest Elementary Principal

My name is Russell Young and I’m the principal at Percy Priest Elementary. My educational career began as a classroom teacher and coach in Massachusetts before moving to Nashville in 2012.  I have served as a teacher at The Cohn Learning Center, an assistant principal at Hunters Lane High School, and as the executive principal at West End Middle School.
My wife and I, Tiffany, are also proud Percy Priest parents.  The oldest of our three children is a first grade student at our school.  I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve and to lead in the Percy Priest community.

Brooke Temple

Ed.S, Assistant Principal

My name is Brooke Temple and I am the assistant principal at Percy Priest Elementary. I joined the PTO Executive Board as a way to connect with families and collaborate with parents and other stakeholders towards a common goal of school improvement. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management, a Masters degree in Learning and Teaching, and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Leadership. In my space time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Adam and daughter Ivy. My favorite Percy Priest memory thus far, has been supply pick up. During this time, I had a chance to meet and introduce myself to students and families. I’m looking forward to having students back in the building soon, so I can continue to build relationships with students and families!

John Markham

Assistant Treasurer

My name is John Markham, and my son Ford is a first grader in Ms. Hartsock’s class. My wife Haley and I also have two future Tigers – Milly (5) and Henry (3). We are huge fans of Percy Priest Elementary and the PPE Community. I am a member of Pinnacle Bank’s commercial banking team, and, in my spare time, I enjoy staying active, reading, and supporting our local sports’ teams.

Marisa Adair

Vice President of Communications

My name is Marisa Adair and I have one child at Percy Priest Elementary – Wells Adair who is in Miss Benson’s kindergarten grade class.  I have 4 kids total, 2 of which are already through PPE and one who will join in a few years. This is my 4th year on the PPE board in the Communications role. I love Percy Priest, all the teachers, and the lovely family and friends we have met throughout the years. I work part-time from my home in a marketing and project management role for various churches, non-profits and travel industry related clients. In my spare time I love to go on runs with my dog, spend time with my family, and listen to live music. My favorite thing at Percy Priest is the songwriters night because it gives the parents a night to spend with each

Katie Agnew


My name is Katie Agnew and I have two children at Percy Priest Elementary – Elizabeth, who is in Mrs. Bell’s 3rd grade class, and Mary Anne, who is in Mrs. Lester’s kindergarten class.  PPE has given so much to our family, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to do something for it in return by serving on the Executive Board.  In my professional life I am a lawyer, and in my spare time I enjoy jogging, gardening, and reading. My favorite PPE memory is of Elizabeth dressed up as her 100 year-old self on the 100th day of kindergarten.

Emily Cary

My name is Emily Cary and I teach 4th Grade at Percy Priest Elementary. I joined the PTO Executive Board because I enjoy volunteering and working closely with our parents. I have a son who is a freshman at Lipscomb Academy. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, and being outside. I have many memories with my students and enjoy making new memories this year.
