Katie Agnew

President

My name is Katie Agnew and I have three children – Elizabeth, who is in 5th grade, Mary Anne, who is in 2nd grade at Percy Priest, and Rebecca, who will be a Percy Priest kindergartener next year. Percy Priest has given so much to our family, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to do something for it in return by serving on the Executive Board. In my professional life I am a lawyer, and in my spare time I enjoy jogging, gardening, and reading. My favorite Percy Priest memory is of my girls dressed up as their 100 year-old selves on the 100th day of kindergarten.

Libba Alden

Vice President

My name is Libba Alden and I have three girls, two of whom are at Percy Priest this year.  JuJu is in 3rd grade and Carter is in 1st.  My youngest, Alice, is in the 5s at Woodmont Christian Preschool. I joined the PPE Executive Board because I wanted to take an active role in my children’s elementary school experience and give back to the community that is serving them so well.  In my professional life, I work for a consulting firm that assists nonprofit businesses with fundraising and marketing for its clients.  My favorite PPE memory is the 2021 Spring Sing. I loved watching all the children sing together as a school in front of all the teachers, faculty, and parents.  

Andrea Rothe

Treasurer

My name is Andrea Rothe, and my daughter Sofia is a second grader at Percy Priest. We have a younger child, Luka, who is not yet at Percy Priest. I joined the PTO’s Executive Board because I wanted to be a part of our school community and help out in any way I can. In my professional life, I am the co-founder of Iris Financial Group, working with small business owners, streamlining processes to make them more successful. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to different countries, exploring National Parks and hot yoga. My favorite PPE event is the popsicle party before the first day of school.

Carlin Graham

Assistant Treasurer

My name is Carlin Graham. My husband, Baird, and I have three children. Tinsley and Banks have graduated from PPE and they both attend FRA. Tinsley is in 7th grade and Banks is in 5th grade. Mally Gray is currently at PPE and she is in the 2nd grade. I joined the PPE Executive Board because I want to support the school that has been so great for our family. In my professional life, I worked in the 401(k) Retirement Plan world for 15+ years, but I am currently staying home. In my spare time, I enjoy staying active and being with my family.

Christie Boyd

Community Events Chair

My name is Christie Boyd. I have three daughters. Larkin has graduated from PPE and is in 7th grade at JT Moore. Maisie is in 4rd grade, and June is in 1st. I joined the PPE Executive Board because our family has been so grateful for the wonderful educators and community of PPE and want to support that community. In my professional life I am a middle school librarian. My favorite PPE memory each year is  helping my girls put together their costumes for book character day to celebrate the end of Read-A-Thon.

Megan Callendar

Fundraising Chair

My name is Megan Callender and my husband, Michael, and I have two children that attend Percy Priest – Marlo is a 3rd grader and Griff is a 1st grader. Burke, our youngest, will attend Kindergarten at PPE in 2022. I joined the PTO executive board because we are so grateful for our wonderful school and the community that comes with it. I want to give back and support the terrific staff and school that we love. In my professional life, I am embarking on a new career in Personal and Commercial Property Insurance as a Producer with The Tucker Agency. In my spare time I enjoy fitness classes, reading, outdoor activities, coaching/spectating my children’s activities, travel and anything by the water. My favorite Percy Priest event is field day, it is a day full of fun and excitement for everyone.

Caroline Edwards

Secretary & VP of Administration

My name is Caroline Edwards and I have two children at Percy Priest Elementary- Margaret is in 1st grade and Mailee is in 4th grade. I joined the Executive Board because I wanted to get more involved with Percy Priest and its community, and try to give back to this wonderful school that has been so great to our family. In my professional life I am a caterer. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, cooking and entertaining. My favorite PPE memory is the excitement of going to the front porch before school starts to see the posted class lists.

Chris Bradshaw

Communications Chair

My name is Chris Bradshaw. My wife Pam and I have two children, Hank who is in second grade at Percy Priest and Pete age 4. I joined the PTO to get more involved with our community and to help give a little back to our school. In my professional life, I run Nashville Interactive, a website design and marketing agency. When I’m not hard at work, I love playing golf and finding reasons to build things around the house. The things I’ve come to enjoy the most about being at Percy Priest are meeting new families and hanging out at the bus stop in the morning.

Nahed Artoul Zehr

Past President

My name is Nahed Artoul Zehr and my husband, Joel, and I have two children at Percy Priest Elementary – Nurah (4th grade) and Nadeen (1st grade). Our son, Saleem, is a future PPE Tiger! I joined the PTO’s Executive Board as a way to give back to PPE. Our family’s life has been enriched by the school’s first rate education and its skilled and caring staff. I am a former professor and nonprofit executive director, and am now an active community volunteer. I’m working on starting a small business – a training firm called True Contributors, LLC. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, exercising, coffee, traveling, and any type of peace and quiet I can find. My favorite PPE event is the auction – I love getting a parents’ night out and seeing our community come together to support our school.

Russell Young

Percy Priest Elementary Principal

My name is Russell Young and I’m the principal at Percy Priest Elementary. My educational career began as a classroom teacher and coach in Massachusetts before moving to Nashville in 2012.  I have served as a teacher at The Cohn Learning Center, an assistant principal at Hunters Lane High School, and as the executive principal at West End Middle School.

My wife and I, Tiffany, are also proud Percy Priest parents.  The oldest of our three children is a first grade student at our school.  I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve and to lead in the Percy Priest community.

Brooke Temple

Ed.S, Assistant Principal

My name is Brooke Temple and I am the assistant principal at Percy Priest Elementary. I joined the PTO Executive Board as a way to connect with families and collaborate with parents and other stakeholders towards a common goal of school improvement. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management, a Masters degree in Learning and Teaching, and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Leadership. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Adam and daughters, Ivy and Elle. My favorite Percy Priest memory thus far, has been supply pick up. During this time, I had a chance to meet and introduce myself to students and families. I’m looking forward to having students back in the building soon, so I can continue to build relationships with students and families!

Christie Brumleve

My name is Christie Brumleve and I am a teacher representative on the PTO Executive Board.  I currently teach first grade.  I have been a teacher at Percy Priest since 2005.  I love the family atmosphere at Percy Priest!

Emily Cary

Teacher Representative

My name is Emily Cary and I teach 4th Grade at Percy Priest Elementary. I joined the PTO Executive Board because I enjoy volunteering and working closely with our parents. I have a son who is a junior at Lipscomb Academy. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, and being outside. I look forward to making memories with our wonderful families and students.
