Invest runs until October 8th and we are half way there to our donation goal! Please help us close out the second half of Invest before fall break. Every Invest donor gets a coupon for a free icee at Granny White Market.

Our goal is $240,000 and 90% participation from every family in every grade.

Your donation and participation counts towards our grade level competition. There are two prizes this year – one for the first grade level to reach 90% participation and one for the grade level with the highest amount given.

Based on this goal, we invite families to consider one of our suggested giving levels:

Percy’s Pal — $425 per student
Our recommended annual INVEST gift.

Tiger Champion — $750+ per student**
Our new Leadership Giving level for families who would like to make an even greater impact at PPE. Leadership donors will receive special recognition and a small gift of appreciation.

We understand these amounts may not be feasible for every family, so we want to reassure you that every gift—at every level—matters.

Percy’s Vintage Closet – September 15th

Come shop gently used PPE spirit wear at a great price! We have sweatshirts, embroidered items, vintage field trip shirts, house shirts, and more! We will be set up after school drop-off on Tuesday, September 15th on the PPE playground. Later that day, we will be set up at the PTO General Meeting from 6pm-7pm, and all items will be an additional 50% off! We are also accepting donations for outgrown, but not worn-out PPE clothing and accessories in the bin across from the front office in the vestibule through September 10th.

 CALLING ALL CHESS PLAYERS – PPE CHESS CLUB!

A few key points about the PPE Chess Program:
– Special educational after school program
– Led by a Professional Chess Coach with 20+ years of experience, including 15 years at Percy Priest Elementary

– Wednesdays after school
– A full school year long program with over 30 meetings planned
– All proficiency levels, beginners are welcome
– Grades K-5
– Each meeting consists of a lesson and guided practice
