WE NEED CANDY!

THE 2026 ARTOME ART SHOW

Art Show: Celebrating America! Red, White, Blue – We Thank You!

Join us for a special showcase of student artwork inspired by the landscapes, symbols, and artists of the USA and North America. Stroll through the gallery of 700+ framed art pieces (framing by Artome) displayed in the PPE cafeteria on Tuesday, November 10th from 5-7pm. Celebrate our young artists’ creativity, stop by the photobooth for  a picture with Dr. A.,  and consider purchasing a framed piece for $35 to keep as a special memento. Reproductions can also be purchased and make treasured gifts for loved ones. All proceeds benefit the PPE PTO.

As we approach Veterans Day, we’ll invite students to stop by the gratitude station during the Art Show to write a thank you note or decorate a bookmark for local veterans. The handmade tokens of appreciation will be delivered to Operation Stand Down Tennessee the morning of Veterans Day as a small way to honor those who have served our country.

Keep an eye out for a volunteer signup coming soon with opportunities to help decorate for the show, manage the gratitude station, or distribute cookies at the treat table. Please email Art Show Chair, Kristen Freude at kristen.freude@gmail.com if you’re interested in helping in advance or have questions.

It’s BACK! Cue the BOOK FAIR nostalgia!

PPE’s 2026 Scholastic Book Fair will run November 2nd -November 13th .

The Scholastic Book Fair is a rite of passage, iykyk. The happiest memories! Thanks for helping give your child a lifelong love of story AND for tolerating your kids’ requests for ewallets and alllllll the scented erasers and posters that are sure to enter your home. 😉

Digital ewallets: We are only using ewallets for students’ purchases this year. You can add funds to your students’ ewallet throughout the week of the fair from any device – no need to print it out, we can see it instantly from our end. We are not accepting cash this year. Add funds HERE.

Share the Fair: When you set up an eWallet, there is an option to donate to the “Share the Fair”. Donations will ensure that every Percy Priest student has the opportunity to shop the fair. We don’t want anyone to go home without books. Thank you, thank you for your kindness!

Parent Shopping: We will be open on Parent-Teacher Conference Day from 8-3 on Tuesday, November 3rd.

Grandfriends’ Day: The book fair will be open for students to shop with their Grandparents and Special Friends when they visit PPE on Thursday, November 12th and Friday, November 13th.

We CAN accept credit cards this year -HURRAH! Thank you for your patience last year. Volunteers: Want to volunteer to help with bookfair on Grandfriends’ Day? Email Ms. Stuart.  Don’t hesitate to reach out (emily.stuart@mnps.org) with any questions.
