Homework will include at least 20 minutes of reading each night, spelling word practice, and a math practice sheet to supplement and reinforce what we are learning in class. Homework is optional, and students will not be penalized for incomplete work. However, we are not communicating the “optional” aspect to the children so that each family can decide what works best at home. We want to support your expectations without undermining them.
