Ask your 2nd Grader:

  • Who are 2 Civil Rights historical figures we have read about this week?
  • What does segregation mean? 
  • What are Civil Rights?  Can you name 2 rights we have?
  • If you have a math problem such as 54 + ______ = 98, what is missing? (part) How would you solve this problem? (subtract 98-54)
  • To show you how to solve  93    with regrouping.

    • Focusing Question: What injustices did people face before the Civil Rights Act of 1964?
