UniCycle Donation Time!

Yay for no SSA! With next week being a completely uniform-free zone (thank you, Dr. Young!), it’s the perfect opportunity to gather together ALL of the khaki shorts and skirts and polos that won’t fit next year and get them into a UniCycle donation bag before summer. Fourth grade parents – your items are in highest demand, and you’re most likely to put away those khakis for good! Sizes 10/12/14 are among the most-needed sizes in UniCycle’s distribution stream to fill other school closets and to send direct to students in the Homeless Education Resource Office program. UniCycle is prepping for a busy back-to-school in August, so we have a lot of opportunities to accept items next week:

  1. Wednesday, May 19 – bring your items with your student to the drop-off line and we’ll take them right from your car window!
  2. ALL DAY that day, Wednesday, May 19 – we’ll be in the UniCycle portable after the drop-off line collection (next to the basketball court), and you can come on in anytime from 8-3:30! We’d love to show you around.
  3. EVERY morning next week, May 17-21, drop off in the UniCycle portable 8:30-10:30

Enlist your kids in the closet cleanout and start summer with a cleaner room and a family volunteer activity crossed off of your list.  We served thousands of MNPS students this year, through virtual learning and all, and couldn’t have done it without your support. THANK YOU!
