Weed Wrangle, this Saturday!

Join friends and neighbors of Forest Hills as we work together to remove invasive plant species along Otter Creek, adjacent to the JTLovell Bikeway.  Please bring any tools you have for pulling weeds (gloves, loppers, shovels, and pickaxe), wear clothes that can get dirty, dress for the weather, and wear closed toed-shoes. Event is FREE for all attendees.

Pre-registration is REQUIRED through Hands On Nashville. Park and Meet at 9:00am at Percy Priest Elementary School, in the lot nearest the corner of Otter Creek Road, and Priest Drive.
Weed Wrangle®-Nashville, is an annual, one-day, city-wide volunteer effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from invasive species through the hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants.  Weed Wrangle®-Nashville is a Partners for Plants joint habitat restoration program of the Garden Club of America’s Conservation and Horticulture Committees.  The Garden Club of Nashville is a member of The Garden Club of America.
