Kindergarten News 8/12

Hi Parents,
We had a GREAT first week of school! We are so excited for an amazing year together!
This past week, the children were introduced to the learning structures of our new reading series, Wit and Wisdom. This curriculum builds knowledge of key topics in history, science, and literature through the study of excellent texts. By reading and responding to stories and nonfiction texts, we will build strong routines for ELA.

Reminders:
-Please send in headphones for your student if you haven’t already.
-A peanut free snack and water bottle should be sent each day.
-We love celebrating birthdays! Students can celebrate at school by bringing in individually wrapped, prepackaged treats. Please no cupcakes. Please coordinate with your teacher if your child’s birthday falls on a weekend, break, or day we are not in school.
