The 2025 Summer Reading Challenge is back!
Dr. Young and Ms. Stuart are challenging all Percy Priest students (including rising kindergartners and families) to READ 100 BOOKS and SPEND 100 HOURS OUTSIDE! This optional challenge is a great way to encourage summer reading and independence and prevent the “summer slide”. Please see your child’s Friday folder this week for the challenge card. Write the title of each book read (every 50 pages of a chapter book =1 book) and color a leaf for each hour spent outside. Your child will then turn in the challenge card at the beginning of new school year and receive a prize!

Calling all rising PPE 5th Graders!  Order your Letterman’s Jacket Today!
All students returning to PPE in the Fall for 5th grade are encouraged to order your 5th grade Letterman’s Jacket now! You can do this by clicking this link: 5th Grade Letterman’s Jacket Order.  Scholarships are available! We want every 5th grader to have one, so please take a minute to complete this before the end of the school year.

Students have made amazing PPE memories with two incredible experiences won through the spring auction: Principal for a Day (Ruby Leith) and Slime Dr. Young (Thomas, Bennett, and Preston Saitta)

As Principal for a Day, second grader Ruby Leith ensured the PPE Tigers had a ROAR-some day alongside Dr. Young! Among a long list of duties, Ruby helped recognize the ROAR winners! Well done, Ruby!
Slime for breakfast! Working as a team, Thomas, Bennett, and Preston Saitta made sure it was a gooey, messy, and TOTALLY amazing start to the day by sliming Dr. Young (such a good sport!)!

MNPS Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-26 school year is open.  If you or someone you know has an incoming kindergartner, please encourage them to complete registration as early as possible.  For information regarding enrollment requirements, please visit this site.

Fundraisers

Join us for a Spirit Night at Taco Bamba after Percy’s Moving Party!  Use code GIVE20 at checkout either online or in the restaurant for the order to be credited toward the fundraiser. Interested in a catering order? Just mention the fundraiser when placing the order. Make dinner easy and enjoy a fun afternoon with PPE friends and families!

It’s time! Get your school supplies your student(s) need – the exact items – delivered to class on day 1. Get the “must-have” list DONE in a few clicks and support the school at the same time. Sales close June 30 so buy now and cross this off your list!
