Kindergarten News: 8/25

Hi Parents,

We had a GREAT first few weeks of school! We are so excited for an amazing year together!
This past week, the children were introduced to the learning structures of our reading curriculum, Wit and Wisdom. This curriculum builds knowledge of key topics in history, science, and literature through the study of excellent texts. By reading and responding to stories and nonfiction texts, we will build strong routines for ELA.

  • -A peanut free snack and water bottle should be sent each day.
  • -We love celebrating birthdays! Students can celebrate at school by bringing in individually wrapped, prepackaged treats. Please no cupcakes. Please coordinate with your teacher if your child’s birthday falls on a weekend, break, or day we are not in school.
  • -Thursday, August 31st is our first Navigator Day! Please send your students to school in their yellow field trip shirt.
