PTO Newsletter 5/5

It MAY be the last month of the school year, but it will be a non-stop exciting month for our community.  From Field Day, to Spring Picnic, to Spring Sing.  Buckle up, it’s going to be a fun ride!  This week was our Teacher Appreciation Week where we showed the teachers and staff just how much we care about them and all that they do for our school.  A big thank you to Hattie B’s for providing lunch for the entire staff.  Thank you to all the families who brought in cards, flowers, treats, etc. to show our appreciation.

May is also a time we say farewells to certain teachers.  Mr. Mott, Coach Nash and Ms. Rollins will be saying goodbye to us, but let’s show them how much we care.  If you haven’t done it, please look at your email from your Classroom parent.

Lastly, we are sorry to report that we aren’t ready to present a spending plan for changes to our new building at Tuesday’s PTO meeting. The agenda will be simply to approve next year’s slate and our budget (links below). We are still working on pricing with MNPS and will schedule another PTO meeting soon to tell you all about it and ask for approval to spend PTO funds. Please watch for future announcements about this!
